Instead of ordinary swords and armor, you choose a hero with a completely custom kit. Become Mario, Naruto, Iron Man, Shrek, Mewtwo, Princess Peach, Kratos, Tom & Jerry, King Boo, Dart Monkey, Cypher, or one of many other heroes. There are over 40 heroes to choose from and more to come. Every character has unique attacks, movement abilities, passives, custom sounds, deployables, transformations, and an ultimate designed around who they are.
Choose your battle
Knockout offers several different ways to play:
- Team Stock Battle — Work with your team and eliminate every enemy life.
- Free for All — No teammates and nowhere to hide. Be the last fighter standing.
- Duel — A focused one-on-one fight where skill and matchup knowledge matter.
- Control Point — Capture the objective and defend it against the enemy team.
- Minecart Push — Escort your team’s cart while stopping the opposition.
- Egg Wars — Protect your egg, collect resources, purchase upgrades, and destroy the enemy teams.
- Capture the Block — Steal the opposing objective and safely return it to your side.
- Search and Destroy — Attack or defend the objective in a tense round-based battle.
Each mode can take place across a growing collection of purpose-built maps, from floating strongholds and grassy islands to pirate ships, Japanese temples, fortresses, and dangerous Nether arenas.
Heroes that feel completely different
Every hero changes how you play.
You can soar with Peach’s parasol, transform through Ben 10’s Omnitrix, overwhelm enemies with Naruto clones, command Tom or Jerry, construct Bob the Builder’s Can-Do Crew, deploy Cypher’s gadgets, defend yourself with Iron Man’s hard-light shield, or unleash devastating transformations such as Mega Mewtwo X and Super Monkey Fan Club.
Some heroes specialize in damage, some protect their team, and others provide healing and support. Learning movement, timing, counters, and ability combinations is just as important as landing ordinary attacks.
Collect rare hero variants
Every hero also has collectible cosmetic variants that preserve the hero’s gameplay while changing their appearance:
Shiny variants
Recolor the hero, their items, projectiles, transformations, deployables, and visual effects. They are rare rewards unlocked through crates.
Golden variants
Prestigious seasonal rewards. Reach Master by the end of a competitive season to unlock the golden version of the hero you played most during that season.
These are complete variants—not simple menu icons. Their skins, equipment, summoned allies, clones, transformations, shields, projectiles, and gadgets follow the selected style.
Casual and competitive play
Jump into casual matches for quick action, or enter competitive play to test yourself against serious opponents.

Knockout includes custom models, animated-looking deployables, character skins, unique item textures, voice announcements, ability sounds, detailed interfaces, match spectators, team perks, map objectives, hero statistics, and support for both Java and Bedrock players.
